My name is Kristen. I can't wait to meet you!

Growing up I was never one to spend a lot of time on my hair so when I boldly decided at 15 that I was going to be a hairdresser, it was a bit of a shock. I got my lisence in 2011 and I wouldn't change a thing. I’m still not one to spend a lot of time on my own hair but I love working with my clients to create a color and style that makes them feel confident.

I’m a bit of an extrovert and a people person with a touch of social anxiety, which let me tell you, it’s a blast at parties. However, it definitely helps me understand the importance of having a space where you can be yourself, feel at home, and be comfortable enough to ask questions.

When I'm not in the salon...

You'll usually find me curled up with my dog Daisy playing on my switch on getting lost in some rabbit hole of information I'll never need but I love to learn.

I grew up in Fredericksburg and it's definitely my home base. You'll find me downtown a lot on my time off with my friends hanging out at Agora, checking out First Friday or shopping at Possumbilities. Don't even get me started on the book stores, I'll be here all day.

I'm going to go broke buying fabric one day but if I can slowly replace my wardrobe with items I've recreated it will definitely be money well spent. My grandma taught me to sew grewing up and it's something I still love doing even though I'm not always great at it.
